Widdy Gentil has been named a Five Star: Best in Client Satisfaction Real Estate Agent for 2008.
Milwaukee Magazine contracted an independent market research company, Crescendo Business Service, to administer a rigorous "Best in Client Satisfaction" nomination process. More than 26,000 recent homebuyers, readers of Milwaukee Magazine, and mortgage lenders and title companies were asked to cast a ballot to identify exceptional real estate agents in the Milwaukee area.
After review by a blue ribbon panel of local real estate experts fewer than 7% of all licensed real estate agents in the Milwaukee area were selected.
The 2008 list of Best in Client Satisfaction Real Estate Agents will be shared with the Milwaukee community in the May issue of Mliwaukee Magazine.
Six Steps to Becoming a Homeowner
Step 1: Decide to Buy
Choosing to buy a home can be one of the most important, exciting, and scary decisions in your life. Think about what type of home you could see
yourself buying, how long you will live there, and how much you can afford.
Step 2: Organize
Your home buying experience will go a lot smoother if you organize your
paperwork right from the start. Documents to have on hand: Current paystubs, W2 forms for the last 2 years, and the name and phone number for your landlord.
Step 3: Get Pre-Approved!
The most stressful part of buying a home for most people is going through the loan approval process. By getting Pre-Approved right from the start, you can avoid the stress. It also helps
narrow your home search by letting you know exactly what you can afford.
Step 4: Shop for a Home
This is the fun part. You can search for a home in which ever way you feel most comfortable. The most popular is by
using the Internet. You and your agent can review property listings online and find your dream home without having to walk through hundreds of homes in person.
Step 5: Write an Offer
Once you find your dream home, your agent will help you write an offer and present it to the seller. Once it gets
accepted, you will need to have a home inspection and get your loan (that you were already pre-approved for) finalized.
Step 6: Close the Deal and Move In!
After all the paperwork is finished, you go to the closing table. You and the seller sign all the papers and you get the keys to your new home. There is
nothing more satisfying than walking into your very own home for the first time!
